SeaTac/Burien outage mostly restored with just one customer in Tukwila is on backup power. Almost 9,800 customers lost power this morning at 4:30 a.m. in the SeaTac/Burien area. Equipment failure at a substation caused multiple feeders to go offline. Power was quickly re-routed and most customers got their electricity back within the hour.
One customer in Tukwila is on backup power and the cause for that is under investiation.
