Seattle City Light will be at Safeco Field on Thursday to cheer the Mariners against the Boston Red Sox and remind fans how they can save energy and money with compact fluorescent light bulbs.

City Light will be distributing 20,000 packs of Mariners trading cards at the game and sharing information about the Twist & Save program, which discounts the cost of energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs).

City Councilmember Bruce Harrell will throw out the first pitch with help from Twisty, the Twist & Save mascot.

To save money with Twist & Save, you don’t need a coupon. The discount is applied at the cash register. Working with retailers and manufacturers, Twist & Save offers many CFLs for less that $1 a bulb.
