One Block of Washington Street Closed in Pioneer Square

Seattle City Light construction crews had to close a block of Washington Street between 3rd Avenue and 2nd Avenue Extension in the Pioneer Square neighborhood today when part of a trech for a new duct bank collapsed.

Seattle Already Saving Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars with LED Streetlights

New LED streetlights are already saving Seattle $300,000 a year as Seattle City Light works to install tens of thousands more, City Councilmember Bruce Harrell and City Light Superintendent Jorge Carrasco announced today.
