About 50 Seattle City Light employees will be helping the American Heart Association in its mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, by participating in the annual Puget Sound Heart Walk on Saturday, Oct. 15. The festival begins at 7:30 a.m. at Seattle Center, with walkers scheduled to head out on the course at 9 a.m. To join a Seattle City Light team or to make a donation, go to www.pugetsoundheartwalk.org. For more information, contact the American Heart Association at 206-632-6681.
City Light’s teams will assemble at the northeast side of the International Fountain at the Seattle Center beginning at 8 a.m. Look for the tall “Your Seattle City Light” sign and bright green T-shirts, then cheer on our walkers!
