Power out in Ballard
There is a power outage in Ballard affecting an estimated 5,240 customers. The boundaries are, on the north,NW 70th St; on the south, the Ship Canal; on the east, 9th Ave NW and on the west Puget Sound. Not everyone within these boundaries are effected. Crews are enroute to determine the cause.[More]

Streetlight Improvements Enhance Public Safety
Mayor Mike McGinn highlighted Seattle City Light’s work Monday night to help support public safety with its switch to Light Emitting Diode (LED) streetlights and operational improvements that have eliminated a backlog of service orders for burned out streetlights.
