Power Outage Affecting 3,200 Skyway Customers

Power is out to approximately 3,200 customers in the Skyway area. There is report of a tree and wires down and a brush fire at Martin Luther King Way and S. 68th Avenue.

Power is out to approximately 3,200 customers in the Skyway area. The boundaries are approximately from S. Bangor Street on the north, S. 170th Street on the south, 76th Avenue S on the east, and 42nd Avenue S. on the east. Not all customers within those boundaries may be affected. 

Power was first reported out at 3:35 p.m. There is report of a tree and wires down and a brush fire at Martin Luther King Way and S. 68th Avenue.  Crews and fire are responding.
