Crews Working to Restore Power in South Seattle

Seattle City Light crews were working to restore power to about 7,300 homes and businesses affted by a power outage Tuesday morning.

The outage was reported about 6:50 a.m. Crews isolated a suspected failed underground cable and started switching operations to restore service for customers about 7:15 a.m. Crews estimated service would be restored for all customers about 8:30 a.m.

The general boundaries of theĀ  outage were S. Winthrop street on the north, S. Othello Street on the south, Lake washington on the east and 4th Avenue S. on the west.
