Power fully restored in South Seattle

Seattle City Light crews have restored power to about 7,300 homes and businesses affected by a power outage Tuesday morning about 6:50 a.m.

Seattle City Light crews have restored power to about 7,300 homes and businesses affected by a power outage Tuesday morning about 6:50 a.m.

Crews isolated a suspected failed underground cable and started switching operations to restore service for customers about 7:15 a.m. Crews were able to fully restore power at 7:45 a.m. The general boundaries of the outage were S. Winthrop street on the north, S. Othello Street on the south, Lake washington on the east and 4th Avenue S. on the west.
