Seattle City Light Plans Community Meeting on Electric Cable Injection in Burien’s Hurstwood Neighborhood

Seattle City Light will be upgrading the underground electrical cable system in the Hurstwood neighborhood of Burien beginning in late October. A community meeting will be held to explain the project tomorrow night, Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The meeting will be held at Mount View Elementary School, 10811 12th Ave. SW.

Streetlight Inspections Update Jan. 6

Seattle City Light identified four streetlights giving off voltage Wednesday night. Crews immediately cut off power and started repairs. All of the incidents were found by City Light contractors during their inspections. There were no injuries.
