Seattle City Light Replacing Damaged Pole in Unincorporated King County
Possible Traffic Impacts

SEATTLE —

City Light crews are replacing a pole damaged by a car last night. The pole is located near the intersection of S. 129th St. and Martin Luther King Jr. Wy. S. in Unincorporated King County. Crews are working off the road to reduce impacts on traffic. Traffic control has been requested from the Washington State Patrol.

This work requires a power outage impacting about 95 customers. The outage started at about 6 a.m. and the estimated restoral time is 3 p.m. The general boundaries of the power outage area are: north, 61st Pl. S.; south, S. 129th St.; east, 61st Pl. S.; and west, 60th Ave. S.

Seattle City Light is the ninth largest public electric utility in the United States. It has the lowest cost customer rates of any urban utility, providing reliable, renewable and environmentally responsible power to nearly 1 million Seattle area residents. City Light has been greenhouse gas neutral since 2005, the first electric utility in the nation to achieve that distinction.
