Two power outages have left more than 4,000 customers in the dark this morning. An equipment failure in Shoreline has affected approximately 1,740 customers in Lake Forest Park, Olympic Hills and Shoreline. Restoration is expected around 5 a.m.
A tree down in Seattle has left more than 2,000 customers without power from Martin Luther King Way on the east, to 12th Ave. S. on the west, S. Hanford on the south, and Minor Street on the north. A tree was the cause of that outage, and is expected to be mostly restored by 2 a.m.
Information about outages is available online from Seattle City Light’s system status map at www.seattle.gov/light/sysstat.
