Power Restored To All Leschi Customers

Seattle City Light crews restored power to all customers in the Leschi area of Seattle at 6:30 a.m. today. The outage, caused by a tree falling into power lines, began about 6:04 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, initially affecting about 2,081 customers.

The general boundaries of the outage were: E. Pke Street to the north, 22 Avenue to the west, Lake Washington to the east, and King Street to the south. For power outage information, visit our map at http://www.seattle.gov/light/sysstat/.

Seattle City Light is the 10th largest public electric utility in the United States.  It has some of the lowest cost customer rates of any urban utility, providing reliable, renewable and environmentally responsible power to nearly 1 million Seattle area residents.  City Light has been greenhouse gas neutral since 2005, the first electric utility in the nation to achieve that distinction.
