City Ligtht Crews Responding To South Seattle Power Outage

Seattle City Light crews are responding to reports of a power outage affecting about 3,140 customers in South Seattle. The outage was detected at 6:10 a.m. today, April 24.

Seattle City Light crews are responding to reports of a power outage affecting about 3,140 customers in South Seattle.  The outage was detected at 6:10 a.m. today, April 24.

The cause of the outage is not known at this time. An estimate for full restoration of service is 1 p.m. today.

Areas affected include Rainier Beach, Green River, Duwamish, Rainier View and parts of unincorporated King County near Tukwila and Renton. General boundaries of the outage are: South Bangor Street to the north, 42 Avenue South to the west, 76th Avenue South to the east, and South 170 Street to the south.
