Seattle City Light recognized ArtHouse Apartments on-field at the Mariners’ game Aug. 26 for their participation in the Powerful Neighborhoods Program.
Apartment Manager Cassandra Bretscher was welcomed on the field to receive a certificate from Craig Smith, City Light’s director of conservation resources.
By participating in the program, ArtHouse Apartments will save over $5,500 a year on electricity costs.
City Light’s Powerful Neighborhoods Program provides energy-saving upgrades to save money and improve tenant satisfaction in Seattle neighborhoods. Properties with five or more units receive free energy-efficient LED lighting directly installed in all units, as well as free water saving showerheads and faucet aerators for installation.
