City Light Assessing Trees, Plants Near Transmission Lines

Seattle City Light's vegetation management department has retained Washington Forestry Consultants Inc. of Olympia to conduct an inventory and assessment the trees and vegetation on its electrical transmission system in the state of Washington.

Seattle City Light’s vegetation management department has retained Washington Forestry Consultants Inc. of Olympia to conduct an inventory and assessment the trees and vegetation on its electrical transmission system in the state of Washington.

WFCI staff will be working on the transmission rights-of-way and utilizing road access to these rights-of-way during September and October.  They will be looking at trees on the rights-of-way as well as trees adjacent to the rights-of-way that can reach Seattle City Light power lines if they fail.
