Power Restored in Shoreline

Seattle – City Light crews have restored power to 2,947 customers in North Seattle and Shoreline, who lost their electric service at around 10 p.m. because of a vehicle accident with a light pole.

The boundaries of the outage were:

North: North 205th Street
South: North 155th Street
East: Aurora Avenue North
West: 14th Avenue NW

Not everyone within these boundaries may have lost power.

Seattle City Light is the ninth largest public electric utility in the United States. It has the lowest cost customer rates of any urban utility, providing reliable, renewable and environmentally responsible power to nearly 1 million Seattle area residents. City Light has been greenhouse gas neutral since 2005, the first electric utility in the nation to achieve that distinction.
