Power outage in Northeast Seattle

Seattle City Light is experiencing a power outage in the Lake City Way area and NE Seattle neighborhood.

SEATTLE — Seattle City Light is experiencing a power outage in the Lake City Way area and NE Seattle neighborhoods.  There are currently 3192 customers without power.  Crews are enroute to determine the cause and make repairs.  The boundaries of the outage are, on the north, NE 123rd  St.; on the south, NE 74th St.; on the east, Lake Washington and on the west, 5th Ave NE .  Not all customers within these boundaries are affected.

 

Seattle City Light is the ninth largest public electric utility in the United States.  It has the lowest cost customer rates of any urban utility, providing reliable, renewable and environmentally responsible power to nearly 1 million Seattle area residents.  City Light has been greenhouse gas neutral since 2005, the first electric utility in the nation to achieve that distinction.
