Seattle City Light’s contractor, MidMountain, is nearly finished with the first phase of a project to extend the underground electrical service along N. 34th Street east of the Aurora Bridge.
Duct work and a new vault have been installed between Troll Way and and Stone Way to increase the reliability of electrical service. Pavement, sidewalk and curb restoration are the final steps of the civil construction contract slated to end on April 1. City Light will return at future point in time to add one more vault and pull in the cable.
