Seattle City Light crews restored power to all customers affected by power outages in the Roosevelt and First Hill neighborhoods by 2:30 p.m. today.
A blown elbow connector on an underground switch was responsible for the outage in Roosevelt. An underground cable failure was the cause of the outage in First Hill.
TheRoosevelt outage started about 8:40 a.m. and initially affected about 3,900 homes and businesses. All but one of those customers was back in service by 10 a.m.
The First Hill outage started about 11:30 a.m. and initially affected about 4,800 homes and businesses.
