Power Outage in SE Seattle, Skyway, Parts of Tukwila, Renton

Seattle City Light crews were responding to a power outage in the Rainier View and West Hill neighborhoods of Seattle, along with Skyway, and parts of Renton and Tukwila on Tuesday afternoon.

About 3,000 homes and businesses were affected by the outage, which started about 2 p.m. The general boundaries of the outage were S. Bangor Streeton the north; S. 170th Street on the south; 42nd Avenue S on the west; and 76th Avenue S on the east.

Crews were working to determine a cause for the outage and make repairs. An initial estimate for restoration was set for 6 p.m.
