Seattle City Light employees showed their care for their communities during a Valentine’s Day fundraiser that contributed more than $5,000 to three charities.
Seattle based-employees raised about $3,600 to support Project Share, an emergency assistance fund that provides one-time help paying utility bills for customers in financial distress.
Employees at our Boundary Hydroelectric Project in northeast Washington, raised about $1,000 for Pend Oreille County’s Neighbors in Need program.
And workers at our Skagit Hydroelectric Project in Newhalem and Diablo raised $400 in support of the Skagit County Community Action Agency’s Warm Home Fund.
