Seattle City Light’s draft Advanced Metering Opt-Out Policy and Program is available for public review and comment.

Seattle City Light’s draft Advanced Metering Opt-Out Policy and Program is available for public review and comment.

This policy was designed to provide a choice for City Light customers who do not wish to receive the benefits of advanced meters. Customers who are interested in opting out of Advanced Metering will need to sign a form acknowledging that they are choosing to forego the benefits that will be available with advanced meters.  To review the draft of the policy please visit http://www.seattle.gov/light/policies/underreview.asp. Additional information about the policy and the public comment process is available at http://www.seattle.gov/light/ami/opt-out.asp
