This policy was designed to provide a choice for City Light customers who do not wish to receive the benefits of advanced meters. Customers who are interested in opting out of Advanced Metering will need to sign a form acknowledging that they are choosing to forego the benefits that will be available with advanced meters. Next year City Light will be joining more than 500 utility companies nation-wide by installing advanced meters throughout its service territory. Advanced Metering will provide exciting benefits to City Light customers including:
