On the evening of May 20, more than 700 people gathered for the annual Climate Solutions Annual Dinner. This event focused on finding actionable, innovative responses to our planet’s most urgent environmental and societal challenge. Seattle City Light was proud to join this event, representing our shared commitment to environmental stewardship and renewable energy.

The event was a strong reminder of how when people work together, we inspire change. Speakers and attendees shared ideas on how to turn climate challenges into opportunities. The main message was clear: We all have the power to choose how we respond to climate change, and every action we take matters.
Keynote speaker Jigar Shah, formerly the Director of the Loan Programs Office at the U.S. Department of Energy, reminded everyone that while national policies might not always lead the fight, businesses, organizations, and individuals have an important role. Together, we can lead the push toward cleaner energy and a sustainable future.
