Seattle City Light crews continue to work around the clock to restore service to customers affected by Saturday’s windstorm. At the peak of the storm, 58,000 customers were without power. By comparison, approximately 1,600 customers were out of power this afternoon.
Seattle City Light crews continued to make progress Sunday to restore service to customers affected by Saturday’s windstorm, reducing the number of homes and businesses without power to under 7,000.
As Seattle City Light’s crews work to restore power to all customers affected by Saturday’s windstorm, they follow a set of guidelines for determining which job to work on next.
As of 5:30 p.m., crews have restored power to approximately 12,000 Seattle City Light customers.
