Power Fully Restored in Northeast Seattle

Repair crews have restored service to all 3,000 homes and businesses that lost power about noon when a tree fell into power lines near 8th Avenue NE and N 124th Street.

The general boundaries of the original outage were NE 126th Street on the north, N 100th Street on the south, Fremont Ave N on the west and 14th Ave NE on the east.

Seattle City Light is the 10th largest public electric utility in the United States.  It has some of the lowest cost customer rates of any urban utility, providing reliable, renewable and environmentally responsible power to nearly 1 million Seattle area residents.  City Light has been greenhouse gas neutral since 2005, the first electric utility in the nation to achieve that distinction.
