Seattle City Light's planned start date for installation of new power lines onto the steel towers on either side of the Lake Washington Ship Canal at Warren Avenue in Fremont and Queen Anne has been delayed from May 2nd until mid-May.

Seattle City Light’s planned start date for installation of new power lines onto the steel towers on either side of the Lake Washington Ship Canal at Warren Avenue in Fremont and Queen Anne has been delayed from May 2nd until mid-May.

Switching requirements to perform separate maintenance work on the electrical system in a nearby location is the reason for the delay. We anticipate this delay will push back our completion date by only one to two weeks — from mid-July to late-July for major activities with some finishing work possible now into mid-September.
