Seattle City Light crews have completed the final stages of construction on 13th Avenue South. Crews replaced aging electrical infrastructure and upgraded an existing electrical system that will reduce unplanned power outages and increase reliability for the surrounding area.

This project began in July 2019 and was completed as scheduled in early November. The improvements included replacing aging utility poles and installing new overhead wires and equipment to replace the previous aging system. This construction and other related upgrades are a part of City Light’s effort in improving the electrical reliability of the service area.

City Light thanks customers for their patience during construction.
