What’s one thing that has surprised you about working at City Light? I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how easy it is for employees to explore diverse career paths. The out-of-class program, in particular, is a unique and effective way to learn new skills and assess potential departmental fits. This allows for significant personal and professional growth, as individuals can confidently pursue roles that align with their interests and talents.

What’s your favorite book and why? I have three favorite book series: The “Twilight” series because I am Team Edward and vampires are cool; the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich because she is hilarious and there’s always someone trying to kill her; and my secret obsession is the “Fifty Shades of Grey” series, because, well, read it and you will see.

What is the best meal you have ever eaten? In 2017, I celebrated my birthday with a worldwide European holiday culminating in a remarkable meal at the 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant in Paris, enjoying foie gras and filet de boeuf bourguignon while witnessing the tower’s iconic light display.

What motivates you at work? I am motivated by the challenge of finding effective solutions to complex problems. Within the Account Control work group, our function as the last stage of the billing process necessitates meticulous attention to detail. My focus is on upholding the highest standards of accuracy and ensuring customer satisfaction by preemptively addressing any potential discrepancies.

What’s one item on your bucket list? Skydiving or bungee jumping in Europe, where I plan to be living someday.
