Seattle City Light crews have been able to restore power to about 7,400 customers but about 2,000 are still without power.

Superintendent Jorge Carrasco briefed the media on the plans City Light has to inspect and to make repairs, if necessary, to any of the 20,000 metal streetlight poles and 10,000 metal “hand holes” (small streetlight vault covers) in the utility’s service territory.
A power outage affecting 4,055 customers in North Seattle about 8 am has been restored as of 11 a.m.
Power is out to 4055 customers in North Seattle. Crews are attempting to determine the cause and start repairs.
Power in the International District was fully restored at 6 a.m.
