Starting in early to mid-April 2017, Seattle City Light will be supporting enhanced cellular and data services in the Highline and White Center areas by upgrading electronic equipment to 35 utility poles throughout the public right-of-way of these neighborhoods.
Seattle City Light is planning to replace aging utility poles in parts of Seattle and Burien to help improve and upgrade the electrical reliability in parts of the service territory. The installation of new poles, wire and equipment relocation is an important investment in infrastructure.
Power has been restored to most of Burien, Normandy Park and SeaTac. Crews are still working to restore an outage in Tukwila that was caused by a construction crew cutting an underground cable.

A power outage is afffecting approximately 7,900 customers in the Burien/White Center area.
Seattle City Light will be replacing 48 aging utility poles in portions of Burien and Bryn Mawr beginning Monday, July 29 to help improve and upgrade electrical reliability.
Seattle City Light was named a Tree Line USA Utility for 2013 by the Arbor Day Foundation for best practices in protecting and enhancing the urban forests in its service territory.
The planned outage for Ambaum Boulevard customers, originally scheduled to start tonight (Jan. 14 at 9 p.m.) is being cancelled due to inclement weather conditions. Affected customers are located approximately between SW 128th and SW 132nd.
