Thousands of needy people will have a meal to eat this holiday season thanks to generous Seattle City Light employees.
Employees throughout the City of Seattle gave generously to Hurricane Sandy relief, raising nearly $75,000 in support.
Seattle City Light employees, along with staff from City Councilmember Mike O’Brien’s office and the non-profit organization Communities in Schools helped fill a bright yellow school bus with school supplies today as part of the annual “Stuff the Bus” campaign.
Seattle City Light employees donated more than $3,500 to Project Share for customers in need during a Valentine’s Day fundraiser.
City Light employees gave generously to many nonprofit organizations during the holidays, donating nearly $3,000 along with more than 100 bags of food, toys and household goods to support those in need.
