Since November, more than 3,000 people have signed up to buy credits for new renewable energy production through Seattle City Light’s Green Up program. That’s a 35 percent enrollment increase.
City Light crews have been able to restore power to 95 percent of the customers on Queen Anne Hill outage and all of the customers on south Beacon Hill.

SEATTLE — Seattle City Light is making progress restoring power to several outages scattered throughout the service area. An estimated 4,200 customers remain without power, down from 12,000. Seattle City Light is experiencing several outages scattered throughout the service area affecting over 10,000 customers.
A power outage has been reported affecting 2,900 customers in the area including parts of Tukwila, Rainier View and Rainier Beach neighborhoods.
Power has been restored in Burien . The ouage lasted about an hour and affected 4,000 customers.

Seattle City Light has completed inspections on all metal streetlight poles and ground cover plates at Seattle Housing Authority locations, including High Point, GreenBridge, New Holly and Rainier Vista. No new voltage readings were found.
