Last Saturday, April 16, City Light’s Vegetation Management Unit and Environmental Affairs and Real Estate Division sponsored five Duwamish Alive volunteer events on City Light property to improve the watershed
Blackberry plants, clover, nightshade, morning glory and other invasive species didn’t stand a chance as 28 Seattle City Light volunteers, including employees and family members, removed the pesky plants at the Duwamish Hill Preserve during the Duwamish Alive event on April 20, as part of Earth Month.
In honor of Earth Day 2013, a team of 25 Seattle City Light employees and their family members will join hundreds of other volunteers at the Duwamish Alive event April 20.
