A large tree that fell into power lines near NE 150th Street was responsible for the power outages that ffected about 5,700 homes and businesses in North Seattle and Shoreline early Monday morning.
Seattle City Light repair crews responded to reports of two power outages in Shoreline and North Seattle just after midnight Monday morning. About 5,700 homes and businesses were affected.
Seattle City Light started work today to replace 16 utility poles along 5th Avenue NE between 165th and 185th streets in Shoreline.
Fifty-seven customers in Richmond Beach are without power for the second time in as many days. City Light crews have been dispatched to the site.
