A power outage in West Seattle this evening leaves almost 2,800 customers without electricty.
Seattle City Light holds a public meeting this evening, Oct.13, 2009, 6:30–8 p.m. on lower Queen Anne to discuss recent power outages on the hill and in Magnolia. Seattle City Light Superintendent Jorge Carrasco will be talking to residents who may have been affected by as many as four power outages during September.
Power has been restored to all customers in the Queen Anne and Magnolia neighborhoods. Equipment failure caused outages Saturday and Sunday.
