In late 2018, Seattle City Light completed an electrical reliability project in Seattle’s Blue Ridge and North Beach neighborhoods. The work was part of a larger effort to replace an aging electrical system that was installed in the early 1970s.
Northwest Seattle residents, employees and businesses are invited to a interdepartmental open house and informational meeting for Seattle City Light’s seven surplus properties from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6 at the Ballard First Lutheran Church (2006 NW 65th Street). This event is hosted by the City of Seattle.
Lightning and rain caused scattered power outages in Madrona and neighborhoods in northeast and northwest Seattle. City Light crews worked to restore power as quickly as possible.
