Seattle City Light customers who use Microsoft’s free online energy-saving application called Hohm now have several new enhancements that make it easier to track energy use, find ways to conserve electricity and reduce utility bills.

Seattle City Light announces a three-way partnership that provides new, renewable energy from a landfill gas power plant at Waste Management’s Columbia Ridge landfill in Oregon where Seattle Public Utilities disposes of the city’s garbage.
Power has been restored to all customers affected by the scattered outages caused by this morning’s (Jan. 18) wind.

Seattle City Light has been awarded a $40,000 grant from the Salmon Recovery Funding Board to support salmon and steelhead habitat restoration along the lower Tolt River near Carnation, Washington.
