Microgrid Open House Scheduled for Dec. 9 at Miller Community Center

Seattle City Light and Seattle Parks and Recreation invite community members to an open house at Miller Community Center (330 19th Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98112) to learn about the Resiliency Solar Microgrid Project. The open house will be held on Monday, December 9 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Seattle City Light awards contract for solar microgrid that will provide emergency backup power to Miller Community Center

Seattle City Light has awarded a $1.8 million contract to a team led by Worley to design and construct a solar microgrid at Miller Community Center, located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The public is invited to attend an informational meeting on July 10.

Arroyo Community Meeting Scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017

Seattle City Light will be hosting a community meeting for Arroyo neighborhood residents on Thursday, December 14 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Westside School to discuss an unplanned power outage that took place on December 3. The meeting will also include information about the history of the neighborhood’s electrical infrastructure, and future upgrades for the Arroyo area.

City of Seattle to Host Community Open House in South Lake Union

South Lake Union residents, employees and businesses are invited to a community open house and informational meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25 at the South Lake Union Discovery Center, 101 Westlake Avenue North. This event is hosted by the South Lake Union Community Council and the City of Seattle.
