Repair Crews Responding to Greenlake Power Outage

Seattle City Light repair crews are responding to a power outage affecting about 3,600 homes and businesses in the Greenlake neighborhood.

Seattle City Light Customers Enthusiastically Back Green Power

Since November, more than 3,000 people have signed up to buy credits for new renewable energy production through Seattle City Light’s Green Up program. That’s a 35 percent enrollment increase.

Power restoration continues-98 percent complete

City Light crews have been able to restore power to 95 percent of the customers on Queen Anne Hill outage and all of the customers on south Beacon Hill.

Power out to over 10 thousand customers

Seattle City Light is experiencing several outages scattered throughout the service area affecting over 10,000 customers.

Power out in Tukwila area

A power outage has been reported affecting 2,900 customers in the area including parts of Tukwila, Rainier View and Rainier Beach neighborhoods.

Streetlight Safety Inspections Dec. 17 Update

Seattle City Light has completed inspections on all metal streetlight poles and ground cover plates at Seattle Housing Authority locations, including High Point, GreenBridge, New Holly and Rainier Vista. No new voltage readings were found.
