Seattle City Light crews are restoring power to homes and businesses in West Seattle’s Gatewood neighborhood. Up 3,257 customers were originally without power due to an underground equipment failure. Approximately, 725 customers remain without power. The estimated time of restoration for all customers is 7:45 a.m., today, Sunday, November 11.

Seattle City Light Hosts Community Meeting on Electric Cable Injection Project Affecting Ambaum Boulevard

Seattle City Light will be upgrading the underground electrical cable system along a portion of Ambaum Boulevard SW beginning in early November. All affected customers have been notified by mail and are invited to a community meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 7– 8 pm at Mount View Elementary School, 10811 12th Ave. SW.

Seattle City Light Plans Community Meeting on Electric Cable Injection in Burien’s Hurstwood Neighborhood

Seattle City Light will be upgrading the underground electrical cable system in the Hurstwood neighborhood of Burien beginning in late October. A community meeting will be held to explain the project tomorrow night, Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The meeting will be held at Mount View Elementary School, 10811 12th Ave. SW.

City Light Installing New Duct Banks Downtown on Columbia Street at 4th & 5th Avenues

Starting Wednesday, September 12, Seattle City Light will begin installation of two new conduits, or duct banks, in the downtown Seattle area across Columbia Street at 4th and 5th Avenues.

Electrical Upgrade: First Avenue Between Columbia and Cherry Streets

Seattle City Light will be by replacing electrical ducts and cable between Columbia and Cherry streets along First Avenue downtown.
